Pure Oxygen Wash - For "Taupo Itch" After years of trying to find a product to stop my itchy mare from rubbing herself into raw sores on her face and her rump, and rubbing and demolishing her tail, I found new product on a trade stand and decided to give it a try Armed with my bottle of Pure Oxygen I went and plastered it everywhere there were 'rub scabs' To my relief and surprise, within three days the scabs had dried and the itching had obviously subsided. I now use the product at least once a week - just in case. My preferred method of application is to just pour some into my hand and then brush it through the hair on the susceptible regions. The rubbing has stopped almost completely and rubbing to the point of injury now just doesn't happen. We now have an 'almost tail' back and no itchy scabs to cause more rubbing.

Pure Oxygen Wash - For Everything! We are happy to endorse Pure Oxygen. It is a fantastic product and we use it for everything Human and Equine. One horse of ours always had Mud Fever and we were never able to clear it up, we just kept it under control, until we were introduced to Pure Oxygen. After one week of using it, the mud fever was gone completely and he even got all of the hair growth back that had been gone for several years. Our WEG horse had a touch of mud fever and it cleared up in 2 days! We also had a horse with ringworm and it worked a treat on that also! Any cuts or scrapes we humans get, we also put it on, it even works on cold sores on humans. I know we are probably not supposed to use it for humans, but why not - when it works? Pure Oxygen Wash - For Thrush & The First Aid Kit We have recently observed a few horses with very deep clefts in their frogs (up to 1.5 cm deep). These horses had had a hard winter in very wet conditions. Some of them would withdraw their legs when the heel bulbs were pressed close to the frog. We asked numerous people if this was normal but no one has been able to suggest any reason for it and we were beginning to think "navicular' but we knew the X-rays of one of these horses was clean. As an experiment I cleaned out the clefts and inserted the tip of the Pure Oxygen (Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide) bottle into the cleft squirting in a small amount of liquid. I have done this regularly for 2 weeks and have noticed there is no longer any response to bulb pressure and that the clefts are opening up and widening. As well as regular use of the Pure Oxygen I packed the clefts with cotton wool and Manuka honey or Stockholm tar 3-4 days apart. From research, it appears that thrush may well be to blame even though no obvious black discharge was present and that the horse can experience considerable pain in the feet when deep clefts are present. The Pure Oxygen is now a must in our medicine cabinet - not only for thrush but for all scratches, cuts, holes etc - a quick squirt and you know the wound is clean. Also used on skin problems, rashes, eczema, fungal infections etc. We would happily recommend it to anyone.
